三、研究方向

DNA:以分子生物学手段为主,结合考古学、语言学、同位素等多学科证据,追溯古代人群的遗传起源、迁移与融合过程; 利用生物信息学方法探究古代人群内部的亲缘关系和古代社会的社会结构。

分子法医学:利用生物信息学、群体遗传学方法和技能为刑事案件、侦查犯罪等提供科学证据。

分子古病理学: 通过宏基因组学分析手段,对古代遗骸中存在的细菌、病毒DNA进行筛选和构建,并进行基因组学比较分析,追溯古代微生物的传播路线。
